Vietnam records one new COVID-19 case

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam on Monday morning confirmed one new locally transmitted case of COVID-19, a 60-year-old woman from the central province of Quang Ngai with a link to the Da Nang hospital hot spot. 

She visited and took care of a sick relative at the Da Nang Hospital between July 18 and July 22, according to the National Steering Committee on COVID-19 Prevention and Control.

The national tally so far is 621, of which 373 cases have fully recovered. Among the remaining active patients, 10 have tested negative for the coronavirus once and 6 at least twice. There have been 6 deaths.
