Vietnam reports no community infection of COVID-19 for 94 straight days
(VOVWORLD) -As of Sunday, Vietnam recorded 381 cases positive with SARS-CoV-2, without new imported cases and new community infection cases, according to the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.

A total of 242 cases of COVID-19 infected from outside, were immediately quarantined after entry into Vietnam. To date, 357 patients have been declared cured. The remaining patients are being treated at medical facilities throughout the country.
In the past 24 hours, the world recorded 212,700 new cases of COVID-19 and 4,826 deaths, bringing the total number of cases to over 14.4 million and the total number of deaths was 604.058.
The US recorded 60,971 new cases. Brazil recorded the third highest number of cases in the world, behind only the US and India with 26,427 cases and 803 deaths. Peru ranked third with 3,963 new cases in the last 24 hours. Mexico has been the 7th largest outbreak in the world with 8,445 new cases and 736 deaths in the last 24 hours. It is also the country with the second highest number of deaths in Latin America, behind only Brazil with 38,310 cases.
