(VOVworld) - The delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam led by Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations Tran Dac Loi, concluded a working visit to Angola, Algeria and Egypt yesterday.

In Angola, the Vietnamese delegation joined other international observers to monitor the country’s parliamentary and Presidential elections, discussed with representatives of the People's Movement for the Liberation of Angola Party measures to boost relation, and met with the Vietnamese community there.

During their stay in Algeria, the delegates held talks with the National Liberation Front (FLN) Party of Algeria, met with the General Secretary of FLN, Abdel Aziz Belkhadem, and President of the Algerian Parliament, Mohamed Larbi Ould Khelifa, and worked with leaders of the Echaab newspaper.

They were received by representatives of the Communist Party, the Freedom and Justice Party, and the Socialist Party of Egypt. They also visited the Institute for Africa and Middle East Studies to examine Egypt’s situation following the Arab Spring.  

At the talks and meetings, the Vietnamese delegates introduced Vietnam’s reforms and external policies. The hosts expressed appreciation of Vietnam’s reform achievements and called for improved Party relations and stronger cooperation in agriculture, construction, trade, oil, gas, and telecommunications.
