(VOVworld)- Vietnam’s Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan has praised the cooperation between Khon Kaen province of Thailand with Vietnam in promoting the potential of the East-West Economic Corridor. Speaking at a meeting with Thai Senator Prasert Prakoonsuksapan from Khon Kaen province in Hanoi today/Thursday, Doan said that opening a direct flight between Vietnam and Khon Kaen would help both countries to strengthen friendship and cooperation in various areas. The Thai Senator praised the development of bilateral ties between both countries and said he hoped that direct route between Khon Kaen and Vietnam would enhance trade and cooperation between different regions in both countries.
