Vietnam to host “10,000 Steps Walking Challenge”

(VOVWORLD) - The World Health Organization, the Health Ministry, and Vietnam Young Physicians’ Association will host a competition called “10,000 Steps Walking Challenge”.

The event  will be launched on May 19 and officially begin in early June, aiming to increase the physical activity of Vietnamese people.

The competition will have 200 groups with five members on each team. Participants will be provided with a water-resistant step counting device. The competition is sponsored by the WHO and will run through this December. The step counting device will be set up and handed over to contestants on June 1st.
