The event, which is expected to bring together around 2,000 delegates during its plenary session, aims to collect initiatives and solutions to remove difficulties and create favourable conditions for Vietnamese tourism to develop.

Addressing a press briefing on Wednesday, Tran Trong Kien, Chairman of the Vietnam Tourism Advisory Board, spoke of key messages delivered at the forum:  “The forum aims towards the goals of promoting sustainable development for Vietnamese tourism and enhancing national competitiveness, addressing the urgent problems on investment, advertising and attracting visitors from markets.”

During the forum, cooperation deals will be signed and two offices promoting Vietnamese tourism in the UK and Australia will be launched.
