The export was conducted under the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA).

Vu Ba Phu, Director of the Trade Promotion Agency of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, says the EU is Vietnam’s fourth largest export market for vegetables and fruits. Abolishing import tarriffs under the EVFTA has increased the competitiveness of Vietnamese fruits.

After the first batch of Thanh Ha “thieu” lychees arrives in the Czech Republic, a batch of Bac Giang province’s Luc Ngan “thieu” lychees will be shipped to other EU countries.
