(VOVworld) – Vietnam has made public the dossier regarding Vietnam’s cultural policy in the international database on cultural policies (World CP) at the Forum on “Creative industries strategy – following steps and challenges”.

At the forum in Hanoi on Thursday, the Ministry of Culture, Sport, and Tourism also introduced the draft strategy on Vietnam’s creative industries. Deputy Minister Ho Anh Tuan appreciated the support from international organizations to help finalize the draft strategy. Karsten Warnecke, Deputy Executive Director of the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF), said that creative industries help countries to better understand each other through their cultural aspects. Experts attending the forum discussed ideas and made recommendations to the authors to finalize the strategy before submitting it to the Asia-Europe Culture Ministers’ Meeting in the Netherlands next year.
