(VOVworld) – Vietnam – South Africa trade totaled 750 million USD this year. Vietnam’s exports to South Africa stood at 630 million USD, 5% higher than targeted, while imports totaled 120 million USD. Vietnam mainly exported coffee, cashews, pepper, rice, clothing, footwear, and electronic products to South Africa.

Vietnamese Commercial Counselor in South Africa Nguyen Kinh Thang suggested Vietnamese businesses should learn more about local consumer tastes and focus more on product promotion to gain a larger market share.
