Voters’ concerns acknowledged in preparations for NA meeting

(VOVworld) – Delegations of National Assembly deputies across Vietnam have held meetings with voters to acknowledge their concerns and recommendations ahead of the 9th session of the 13th National Assembly meeting.

At meetings in Tuyen Quang province, voters were briefed on the upcoming National Assembly agenda. The voters proposed increased funding for program 135 to upgrade local infrastructure, research on cooperation mechanisms to protect forests in border areas between provinces, improvement of education quality, and more job generation. They asked the National Assembly and relevant agencies to pay more attention to improving the living conditions of people in resettlement areas, providing medical check-ups and treatment services at localities, increasing investment in agricultural production, and finding stable outlets for local agricultural products.

Policies to boost agricultural production topped the agenda of meetings between National Assembly deputies and voters in Quang Nam province while in Phu Yen and Binh Duong province, voters contributed opinions regarding legislative activities.
