Woori Bank to open five branches in VN
(VOVWORLD) - The State Bank of Vietnam has given the go-ahead approving the eligibility of South Korea’s Woori Bank to establish five branches in Vietnam.
The branches will be located in Hanoi, HCM city, Da Nang city, and Vinh Phuc and Dong Nai provinces. There are nine banks with 100 per cent foreign capital in Vietnam, including ANZ, Standard Chartered, Shinhan, and HSBC. Over the past three years, two South Korean banks, Shinhan and Woori Bank, have been actively expanding their network in Vietnam.
