World Bank hails projects in Lao Cai province

(VOVworld) – The World Bank has hailed the efforts of the northern mountain province of Lao Cai in implementing projects to build rural roads, irrigation systems, and clean water works, provide lunch for children, and upgrade the infrastructure of several towns. The compliment was made at a workshop in Lao Cai province on Monday to assess these projects, funded by the World Bank and the UK’s Department for International Development (DFID), between 2009 and 2013.
