(VOVworld) - A club of the World Natural and Cultural Heritage Sites in Vietnam debuted in Hanoi on Wednesday, with the Hue Relic Preservation Centre chairing for the first year. The social organisation comprises the managment centres of seven UNESCO-recognised world heritage sites in Vietnam and gathers experts involved in protecting, conserving and upholding the cultural and natural values of Vietnam.

Nguyen Thanh Hai, Director of the Hue Relic Preservation Centre, said: “The club offers a common ground for the management boards of world heritage sites in Vietnam to discuss, share experience, and expand mutual professional support. We think valuable experience at one site can be applied to others. We’ll help each other in training human resources, the current biggest challenge for Vietnam’s conservation.

The club includes the Relic Preservation Centres of Hue, Thang Long-Hanoi, Ho Citadel, Hoi An and the Management Boards of Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park and My Son Relic and Tourism.
