The festival themed “I’m proud- I’m Vietnam” featured a wide range of activities including a record of 5,000 young volunteers dancing flash mob, and a camping festival that aims to help young people learn more about cultural and people of different regions across the country. "The program is very interesting because it has meaningful activities such as games, blood donation and group dances. I’m very happy to donate blood. I feel very excited among other dynamic and enthusiastic young people", said Nguyen Thi Mai Hanh, a student at Hanoi Medicinal University.
This is the third time the festival is held showing young Vietnamese people’s pride of their country and their responsibility for society. "The blood donation festival is part of many other activities to mobilize blood donation for patients. I think this program was very successful. Since the morning, about 3,000 people have registered to donate blood", said Nguyen Anh Tri, Director of the Central Blood Transfusion and Hematology Institute.
