Nguyet’s English lessons are lively with role playing, quiz show formats and camping trips. Nguyen Van Hiep, the Principle of Hiep Binh High School, said: “Ms. Nguyet takes the lead in innovative teaching methods and use of visual aids including the interactive whiteboard. She is a role model in our school”.

Minh Nguyet has created a number of projects to help students acquire experience. Her rubbish recycling project was a hit. Rubbish and bottles collected by the students were recycled as flower pots, school equipment, and clothing. Nguyen Phuc An is a student: “We are excited by Nguyet’s lessons and her projects to protect the environment. We find these activities meaningful”.

Some confidential survey conducted by Nguyet found out that many students are in difficult financial situations. She started a fund to help them: “My mother died when I was little. I lived with my grandparents and experienced a lot of hardships. I always cherished a dream to do something to help unfortunate children”.

Nguyet’s charity fund has already helped a number of students to continue their schooling. 12^th grader Truong Thanh Tuyen was moved to receive support from the fund: “I was so happy to receive a scholarship. It has helped me a lot because my family is struggling”.

For her great contribution to the education sector, Luong Thi Minh Nguyet was named an outstanding individual in the campaign to study and follow President Ho Chi Minh’s example.
