Greetings and best wishes for you from your friend in Khairpur Mirs Sindh Pakistan. I hope you will be fine and doing well in beautiful Hanoi Vietnam.
Today I listened to your programs of 31/8/2020 on your website.
After the news and commentary, I very much enjoyed your segment "Colorful Vietnam- Vietnam's 54 ethnic groups".
With this segment I got the very nice and interesting information about the Unique marriage custom of the Raglai.
It was quite impressive to know about the such unique custom of the marriage in the Raglai ethnic group. The Raglai are a matriarchal ethnic minority group who live in Vietnam’s Central Highlands.
A bride’s family organizes all details of her wedding and the wedding ceremony is held at the bride’s house.
It is interesting that he girl’s family will prepare a big meal and a lot of wine to treat all the villagers. The husband will live with his wife’s family, and their children will take their mother’s family name.”
Also their parents give them cows or buffalos and land on which to develop their own production.”
All in all I enjoyed the information with the feeling that I am very familiar with the Vietnam and it's colorful customs.
