This year’s Online Friday aims to promote development and application of digital technology and bring into full play opportunities of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Online Friday 2018 introduced high-quality products and trademarks to customers and offered consumers an opportunity to experience the usefulness of e-commerce and a chance to get to know the most prestigious trademarks in Vietnam’s e-commerce sector. Ms. Tran Thu Trang of Dong Da district, Hanoi, participated in the event: “E-commerce has strongly developed in both services and payment methods. I think online shopping is easy and convenient with good customer service”.

This year’s Online Friday was supported by delivery service groups like VnPost, ViettelPost, and Ninjavan, as well as banks supporting online payment. Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Tuyen of Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi, said: “I usually buy books online. The goods are packaged carefully and the shipping fee is reasonable. I also buy cosmetics online. The quality is quite good”.

Online Friday 2018 focused on technology solutions, and cooperation between enterprises in registering their trademarks to assure clear origin of products. The trading site sandacsan.vn of Viettel telecommunications company participated in the event. Ms. Nguyen Thi Ut, with the Viettel e-commerce company, said: “We want to introduce our website sandacsan.vn and promote e-commerce, which is convenient and time-saving. We offer on our website a variety of specialties from different areas of Vietnam at reasonable prices”.

Online Friday is held annually on the first Friday of December by the Viet Nam E-commerce and Information Technology Agency.
