Vung Tau city plans to make street music an iconic cultural tourism product. According to the municipal People's Committee, community art programs, including street music, attract more tourists. Le Xuan Tu, head of the city's Mass Mobilization Department, said this model will be replicated in other public places.
“In the near future, street music will be performed in other tourist spots and public spaces. Locals and visitors will gather at one venue to hear to ballads sung and at another venue to watch a performance of another art form. There will be multiple options to choose from,” Tu said.
