Ly Xuan Thach, Director of the Thanh Vu Trading and Tourism Company, said, “Famtrips have brought multiple benefits. They have linked travel businesses, restaurants, hotels, and other service providers.”
Lung Slang hamlet in Trang Dinh district, populated by Dao ethnic people, is a famtrip tourist attraction, where visitors enjoy the Vau forest, traditional red Dao embroidery, and the wedding ceremony of the Red Dao.

Trieu Xuan Phu, a Lung Slang villager, said, “With the State’s support for community-based tourism, the local Dao people are eager to welcome visitors.”
Lung Slang is poised to become a popular community-based tourism and eco-tourism destination, said Luc Thi Phuong, Deputy Head of the Trang Dinh district’s Culture and Information Section.
“We’re encouraging the local administration to get local people to develop tourism, especially community-based tourism and ecotourism. We’ll coordinate with agencies, businesses, and the media to promote potential tourist spots and turn them into tourist routes in Trang Dinh” said Phuong.
Famtrip has been an effective way to launch new tourism products and increase links between travel companies and local authorities in Lang Son province.
Hoang The Vinh, Deputy Director of the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said, “Lang Son has lots of potential and geo-conditions for tourism development. We’re increasing promotion programs to attract investors to Lang Son that focus on typical products. Organizing famtrips is one of the ways we’re figuring this out.”
