The key midfielders will miss the match against Indonesia next Tuesday.

Thitipan played hard and well and was a constant threat to the Vietnamese defenders. He suffered an injury in the 77th minute and was replaced by Peeradon who encountered the same problem in the last minutes.

Thitipand has a thigh muscle tear. He bled a bit but it was not serious. There is also a problem with his knee tendon. He will need 4-5 weeks to recover,” said a doctor of the Thai national team.

Coach Akira Nishino have added center defender Patcharapol Inthanee (Muangthong United) and midfielder Anon Amornlerdsak (Bangkok United) to his squad. Anon played at the AFC U23 championships while Patcharapol was excluded from the 23-man roster for the World Cup 2022 qualifiers.
