(VOVworld)- The central highlands city of Da Lat will host this year’s tourism cultural week late December. The week long event beginning on December 27 will feature various tourism and cultural promotion events including the first UNESCO Vietnam ASEAN Heritage festival, launching of the 2014 central highlands national tourism year and a flower bonanza. The events will gather participants from 4 partner countries of India , China , South Korea and Japan . The 2014 central highlands Da Lat tourism year will promote tourism development and sustainable economic growth. Deputy Chairman of Lam Dong provincial people’s committee, Doan Van Viet:“Detailed programs will be finalized in a few weeks. We will mobilize resources from various sectors, especially the business community and overseas Vietnamese. Road connection and other infrastructure facilities have been upgraded to celebrate the events.”
