Activities underway to mark CPV's 88th founding anniversary
(VOVWORLD) - Khanh Hoa province organized a meeting on Saturday to celebrate the 88th anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Provincial Party Committee.

In his speech, Provincial Party Secretary Le Thanh Quang stressed the Party’s tasks in the near future which will focus on Party building.
At a similar event in Binh Phuoc province, outstanding Party Secretaries were honored. They are praised for their high sense of responsibility, dynamism, creativity, and devotion at work.
A delegation of the Vietnam Buddhist Shanga in Hanoi led by Venerable Thich Bao Nghiem and a delegation of the Committee for Vietnam Catholic Solidarity led by Priest Duong Phu Oanh visited and congratulated the Hanoi Municipal Party Committee on the occasion of the Party’s 88th founding anniversary and New Lunar Year.
22 young Party members were honored at a program to mark the event in Nghe An province.
A meeting to mark the Party’s 88th founding anniversary was held in Moscow. Speaking at the event, Vietnamese Ambassador Ngo Duc Manh reviewed the development of the Party over the past 88 years. He proposed measures to boost bilateral ties between Vietnam and Russia.
The Vietnamese Embassy in Algeria organized a seminar to celebrate 88 years of the Communist Party of Vietnam and 50 years of the 1968 General Offensive and Uprising. Delegates discussed President Ho Chi Minh’s role and the Party’s leadership in national liberation struggle and development.
