(VOVworld) – The People’s Army Publishing House has introduced readers to a series of books, which provides different aspects of the historic Dien Bien Phu military campaign.

The series, entitled “Celebrate the 60th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu victory”, consists of 15 volumes, including “The Dien Bien Phu campaign – a 60-year memoir”, “General Vo Nguyen Giap and the Dien Bien Phu campaign”, and “Dien Bien Phu – a historic wonder”.
At the book presentation in Hanoi on Tuesday, Colonel Hoang Lam, author of the volume “Dien Bien Phu – a historic wonder”, said:
"My book is a small but truthful work contributing to the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory. My work also shows my gratitude to the fallen soldiers, including my elder brother at Dien Bien Phu. Finally, my writing and its sharing with other people has become a useful part of my life".
In his book, the author focused on analysing the leadership of the Party and President Ho Chi Minh, saying that the Dien Bien Phu victory was one of the most glorious victories in the history of resistance to foreign invasion.
