VOVworld)-85 outstanding young people in Vietnam’s rural areas were honored with the Luong Dinh Cua awards at a ceremony in Hanoi on Sunday.  “The awardees today will be the vanguard in encouraging other young people to follow their examples. I hope that the awards will help boost your creativity, enthusiasm and startup spirit”, said Secretary of the Vietnam Youth Union, Le Quoc Phong.

Named after a brilliant Vietnamese agronomist in the early 20^th century, the Luong Dinh Cua awards are given annually to young rural people who excel in production and business activities.           

“I’m very glad to receive the award. I recommend that other young people start your business right from your home village. Every locality has its own untapped potential”, Tran Kim Viet, an awardee from the central province of Ha Tinh shared his experience.
