(VOVworld) – The National Assembly’s organization board for the upcoming Inter Parliamentarian Union’s 132^nd General Assembly has held a dialogue on democracy and human rights. Addressing the event on Friday, National Assembly Deputy Chairman Uong Chu Luu said democracy and human rights are universal human values but they depend on each country’s political, social and economic contexts. The Constitution and laws have promoted, respected and ensured human rights and they should be exercised in reality. Delegates discussed a draft resolution on democracy in digital era and threats to privacy and other personal freedom rights. Their comments will contribute to the 132^nd General Assembly of the IPU.
