(VOVworld)- Ho Chi Minh city will host a meeting between the Prime Minister and entrepreneurs on April 29, it was revealed at a press conference held by the Government Office in Hanoi on Friday. Themed “Vietnamese enterprises are the momentum for national economic development”, the meeting is expected to be attended by 500 business people. It will deliver the Prime Minister’s message of creating the best conditions for businesses. High on the agenda will be measures for producing the most favorable business climate and dealing with enterprises’ problems.

Deputy Head of the Government Office Le Manh Ha said: “The upcoming meeting will focus on the topic of Vietnamese businesses, including both domestic and foreign-invested ones. This shows the government’s equal treatment for foreign-invested businesses. As the meeting’s theme suggests the word “momentum” first appeared in the resolutions of the 12^th National Party Congress, which defined the private economy as one of key drivers in Vietnamese economy. Also, this is the first time a meeting between the Prime Minister and business people will be held and broadcast live”.
