(VOVworld)-Visitors to the Culture and Tourism Village of Vietnam Ethnic Groups on the outskirts of Hanoi have been treated to a variety of traditional customs of Vietnamese ethnic groups.

190 village patriarchs, intellectuals, and artisans from 16 ethnic groups have re-enacted rituals and games like God of Fortune worship, goat fighting, archery and introduced their unique cuisine as part of the 2017 “Spring colors throughout the country” festival.

“We bring here our folk music and “nem con” , a traditional game and a ritual to pray for bumper crops, peace and health. The festival helps tighten the intimate bonds between Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups”, said Artisan Hoang Thi Bich Hong of the Tay ethnic group in Thai Nguyen province.

The festival concluded on Sunday.
