Exhibit on President Ho Chi Minh and NA and People’s Council elections
(VOVworld) – An exhibit on President Ho Chi Minh and National Assembly and People’s Council elections opened at the HCM Museum in Hanoi this week.
The exhibit is in anticipation of President Ho Chi Minh’s 126th birth anniversary and part of a communications program on the National Assembly and People’s Council elections for the 2016-2021 term. The 200+ items on display document President Ho Chi Minh’s leadership in Vietnam’s first General Election in 1946 and later National Assembly and People’s Council elections. Nguyen Thuy Duc, acting Director of the Ho Chi Minh Museum, said: “The photos of President Ho Chi Minh and many other officials of the Vietnam revolutionary government taking part in the first General Election were taken from different angles. This exhibit is intended to educate young people on their responsibility and rights in voting.”
Visitor Nguyen Khanh Hong said: “The exhibit makes us more aware of our responsibility to elect good representatives. We hope they will be our voices just as President Ho Chi Minh wished in the first National Assembly election.”
The exhibit will close on May 31.
