He said Vietnam has prepared to mobilize a military engineering force to participate in UN peace keeping missions: “We hope that French experts will share their experiences in organization and coordination of different forces within the UN framework. This will help us to better prepare our military engineers participation in the UN peace keeping missions following the signing of an agreement on technical assistance in peace keeping between Vietnam and France.”
Remi Lambert, First Counselor of France’s Embassy in Vietnam, said: “France is willing to support Vietnam’s participation in peace keeping missions through our training courses in the French language. We need to boost cooperation in civil protection and military engineering”
