(VOVworld) – External information plays a significant role in foreign affairs and Vietnam’s international integration process, said Party Politburo member Le Hong Anh at a conference to review the performance of the Steering Committee on External Information Service in Hanoi on Wednesday. Mr. Anh, who is also permanent member of the Party Central Committee Secretariat stressed that external information provides the world a thorough and precise understanding about Vietnam, which benefits the country to gain international support for its national construction and defense. He urged relevant agencies to carry out coordinated activities based on the external information development strategy until 2020.
