Speaking at the event on Thursday, Deputy Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son said this is the first joint event between the Ministry and a province to introduce local potential to the world: "The Foreign Ministry selected Ha GIang as the first destination in our roadshows thanks to its tangible and intangible values attracting investors, NGOs and tourists. Ha Giang has a unique beauty of a border province and enriched identities of ethnic groups. We hope that provincial incentives towards sustainable investment and business operation will help improve social economic development."

The provincial Party Chief, Trieu Tai Vinh, briefed participants on local efforts in sustainable economic restructuring to become a national hub of traditional medicines and tourist destinations with enriched cultural identities.
