(VOVworld) - The Hanoi Traditional Trade Village Tourism Festival 2016 opened on Thursday in Hanoi, featuring the booths of 250 traditional handicraft villages, enterprises, and travel companies from the northern region.

Exhibits of famous crafts like Van Phuc silk, Bat Trang pottery, Phu Vinh rattan and bamboo weaving, Ha Thai lacquerware, Dinh Cong silver inlay, Quat Dong embroidery, and Ngu Xa bronze casting, were on display. Duc Khoa, Vice Chairman of Hanoi’s Embroidery Association, said: “The festival is held annually for trade villages to introduce their products. Through the festival, we learn more about market demand, seek business partners, and take orders for our products”.
