(VOVworld)- Ho Chi Minh City’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a program to promote the city’s tourism and welcome first foreign visitors to the city in 2013. 450 foreign tourists landed from 2 flights from Frankfurt, Germany and Hongkong, China. At the meeting, leaders of the city’s tourism sector stressed that HCM City will continue improving the quality of tourist services and products this year and ensuring safety for tourists during their stay in Vietnam. The meeting is part of Ho Chi Minh City’s activities to promote its image, land, people and tourist attraction this year.
