The Telangana and Andhra Pradesh state units of the All India Peace and Solidarity Organisation (AIPSO) held the celebration on Friday. Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari expressed Indian people’s admiration of President Ho Chi Minh and his contribution to national liberation and world peace movements. Delegates joined a launching ceremony of a book on the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh in Telugu

In France, a delegation of the Vietnam Supreme People’s Court led by Chief Justice Nguyen Hoa Binh, and the Vietnamese Embassy participated in a ceremony at the Ho Chi Minh Monument in Montreuil. Chief Justice Nguyen Hoa Binh was speaking in the event: “His revolutionary path in many corners of the world, from Marseille to Paris, Montreuil, Tours and other European and African countries made Ho Chi Minh a communist fighter with a life-long aspiration for liberty, quality and fraternity. These have been the guiding principles of Vietnamese revolution and national liberation and unification with contemporary values in today international integration and development.”

Similar celebrations took place in the Vietnamese Embassies in the Czech Republic and Ukraine. 

The Ho Chi Minh Academy in Saint Petersburg held a workshop on Ho Chi Minh and the Russian October Revolution. During the event on May 18, delegates hailed the importance of the October Revolution to world revolution, including Vietnam’s. Ho Chi Minh in his pathway towards national salvation confirmed Marxism Leninism the exclusive way to national liberation and socialist building.
