A ceremony marking the 62^nd anniversary of Vietnamese Students’ Day was held in Hanoi yesterday as part of the 2^nd Capital Festival. In his address, Secretary of Hanoi Youth Union Ngo Duy Hieu highlighted Vietnamese students’ contributions to the nation, adding that an emulation campaign for young Hanoi people has been launched on the occasion."During this campaign, young people will participate in maintaining traffic order and safety, protecting the environment and supporting disadvantaged families. We will also aim to improve activities of the youth unions at the grassroots level and enhance education of the younger generation about morality, culture, history and political ideology", said Hieu.

35 outstanding members of the Students’ Association and 105 excellent students were honored at the ceremony.
