(VOVworld) - The National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Friday reviewed the implementation of polices and laws for people who have selflessly served the revolution at its 7^th session.  

Truong Thi Mai, Head of the Vietnamese National Assembly's Committee for Social Affairs, said implementation of those policies and laws since 2005 will be closely monitored. She said that polices and laws for people who contributed greatly to the revolution have eventually been completed in line with national development. But, she added, there are still some shortcomings in those policies and laws. The NA, the Government and the relevant ministries are urged to expand the application of these policies and laws to assure social equality and create the right conditions for the people concerned to continue making a contribution to society.
