VOVworld) - Roles models in national defense, education, and social and ethnic affairs in northern mountainous province of Ha Giang have been honored during a live TV program. HCM City’s Television on Friday aired live exchange program, where 300 domestic and foreign businesses and individuals donated more than 60 million USD to build 1,200 schools, 300 water reservoirs and develop 34 residential areas in border communes. Sen Chin Ly, Deputy Chairman of Ha Giang provincial People’s Committee, said: “Ha Giang remains Vietnam’s underprivileged province, where people are still suffering from many challenges. This donation campaign is of great significance to help people in border areas stabilize their lives, contributing to ensure national security in the northern border”.
