(VOVworld) - Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has encouraged commercial counselors to work as a bridge to help Vietnamese businesses boost exports and promote their products abroad. He told the 2016 Commercial Counselor Conference in Hanoi on Friday that the counselors should provide more information about their host countries to Vietnamese businesses, protect their interests and propose expanding their list of export items in the context of new free trade deals. He said: “Following international integration and market access, we need to fine-tune legal documents and regulations to facilitate business operation in terms of production costs to raise competitiveness. The economic competitiveness depends on businesses and institutional reform. Administrative reform must be promoted towards modern market economy in line with international commitments.”
