Party building conference garners positive public comments
(VOVworld)-The Vietnamese public has responded actively to a national congress on Party building, which wrapped up in Hanoi on Wednesday. Pham Van Kiem, a resident of the central city of Da Nang said: “I’m very keen on the regulations dealing with the lack of responsibilities, false reporting, power abuse and corruption among Party members. This time, the Party General Secretary has demonstrated an iron will in Party building.”
Associate professor Nguyen Xuan Khoat of Hue University held that party organizations at all levels should work out specific measures to translate the Party Central Committee’s resolution on Party building into life: “Top priority should be given to organization and personnel issues. If Party officials refuse to criticize themselves, the resolution will fail.”
