Project to improve country’s socio-economic development plans
(VOVworld) - The Central
Institute for Economic Management at the Ministry of Planning and Investment has introduced a project to upgrade socio-economic development plans at every level to collect experts’ opinions and finalize the project before submitting it to the government.
Speaking at a conference in Hanoi Monday, several delegates proposed measures to reform socio-economic development planning, such as improving public services to support production, the links between planning and budgets, attracting foreign resources, and combining international integration with domestic socio-economic development plans. A number of economists present suggested forming a Coordinating Committee to be in charge of macro economic management.
