(VOVworld) – The Steering Committee for External Communications has held a conference to review its previous 11^th term and implement tasks for the next term.

Speaking at the event on Wednesday in Hanoi, Vo Van Thuong, Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Education and Communications and Head of the Steering Committee for External Communications, praised efforts to disseminate the Party’s foreign policies. Mr. Thuong stressed the need of closely coordinating local and key agencies to uphold the strength of the whole political system for external communications. He asked the Steering Committee for External Communications to expand foreign services, promote the image of Vietnam and win support from the international community for Vietnam’s major issues.
