(VOVworld) – More than 150 writers and poets from 41 countries have participated in the 3^rd conference on promoting Vietnamese literature internationally organized by the Vietnam Writers’ Association in Hanoi.

The delegates agreed on Monday that Vietnamese literature promotes the core values of humanity, reflects human fate and improves people’s characteristics and morality, and inspire people towards independence and happiness.
Vu Ngoc Hoang, Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Communications and Education, said: “Through literature, we understand other countries’ culture. We have absorbed a lot of foreign literature but exported a limited amount. We believe that a culture can improve only by interacting with other cultures.”
The 3^rd international conference on promoting Vietnamese literature creates an opportunity to show the Vietnamese land, people, and cultural values to the world.
