(VOVworld) – The National Multicultural Festival 2016 opens in Zlin, the Czech Republic. The annual event, organized by the Multimedia faculty of Tomas Bat’a University, features cultural items from many countries.

Every year the organizing board introduces the culture of two countries, and Vietnam and Spain have been selected this year. Director of the festival Lukas Koutny says he selected Vietnam because Czech people don't know much about Vietnam. They want to know about Vietnam's culture, cuisine, and social aspects. The event aims to introduce Vietnam's culture and break the gap between the two communities, Koutny said.
