(VOVworld)-Ca hamlet in the Chieng An commune of Son La province has set up a radio listeners club. It gathered listeners who love radio Voice of Vietnam programs, especially ethnic language shows of Thai, Hmong and Dao. VOV Director General Nguyen Dang Tien participated at the opening ceremony. The club chief, Cam Gianh said that the programs help local people understand more state and government policies and the building of new residence culture:“We listen to radio individually in the past. Now we hold a club so that listeners could exchange what information they got from the radio. This will help the hamlets and villages to learn better and build up more prosperous life through economic production”
