(VOVworld)- The Ministry of Information and Communication, the Navy Command Committee and Hai Phong city on Thursday jointly organized a training workshop on information dissemination about seas and islands.  The workshop provided legal information regarding seas and islands, the protection of marine resources and national sovereignty over sea territory. It aimed to provide information for organizations and reporters on the implementation of the Vietnam Sea Strategy running until 2020. Deputy Minister of Information and Communication Do Quy Doan says: "The Prime Minister approved the information campaign regarding the seas and islands, and directed the Ministry of Information and Communication to develop strategies to serve this task. In the last two years, training workshops on how to disseminate information about the sea territories have proved effective".

Delegates at the workshop were updated with the latest developments regarding the East Sea. They discussed methods of making information about sea and islands more available in future.
