(VOVworld) - Urgent issues in Party building were high on the agenda of a national conference held in Hanoi on Monday. Addressing the opening session, Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong said that the resolution of the 4th meeting of the 11th Party Central Committee focuses on preventing the deterioration of political thought, morality and lifestyle of party members, leaders and cadres at all levels. Party leader Trong said that following the meeting, the Political bureau will assess the recommendations and finalize the plan to realize the resolution.

The Party Central Committee, Political bureau and the Party Secretariat will accordingly clarify roles and responsibilities for the implementation of the resolution. The leaders of party organizations and state agencies are responsible to determine a timeline and assign suitable resources to deal with urgent issues. Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong emphasized the significance of the resolution: “The resolution is of great significance in an effort to deal with urgent issues in party building. We are confident that the resolute determination of the entire political system and strong support of the whole nation, Vietnam will definitely weather any difficulties to create a breakthrough in party building work”.
