(VOVworld) – The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development said export turnover of agro-forestry-fishery products in June is estimated to be 2.5 billion USD, bringing the total export turnover in the first half of this year to 15.5 billion USD, higher than the same period last year.

Turnover from agricultural produce reach 7.3 billion USD thanks to staple items such as coffee and cashew nuts, which saw the highest growth.

Exports of seafood in June increased slightly to 553 million USD and the figure for the first half of the year is more than 3 billion USD, 3.8% higher than last year. The US, Japan, China, and South Korea are leading import markets for seafood from Vietnam.
