(VOVworld) - The Vietnam Economic Forum 2014 opened in Hanoi on Friday focusing on green growth and economic restructuring.

Delegates agreed on the inevitable need to select green growth model in Vietnam’s economic integration. Speaking at the event, Deputy Director of the Central Institute of Economic Management, Nguyen Thi Tue Anh, said Vietnam faces both opportunities and challenges: “Green growth requires drastic economic restructuring and growth model renovation towards less energy consumption industries. Regulators and businesses must cooperate to bringing green growth into reality.”
