Vietnam marks War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day

(VOVworld) – Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan has extended her deep gratitude to policy beneficiary families in Dai Dong commune, Tien Du district, Bac Ninh province. During her visit there on Wednesday, Doan encouraged them to be a role model in the enforcement of the laws and policies of the Party and State for other people, especially the youth, to follow suit. She asked local authorities to continue their support for the beneficiaries.

The same day, National Assembly Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan visited and presented gifts to beneficiary families in the Mekong Delta province of Long An. Ngan paid tribute at a local martyrs’ cemetery, visited the Long An center for social protection, and gave her regards to the disadvantaged people she met. She urged provincial leaders to promote the political and socio- economic achievements and contribute to regional development.

National Assembly Vice Chairwoman Tong Thi Phong, during her 2-day visit to the southern province of Dong Thap, also visited and presented gifts to local beneficiary families.
