(VOVworld) – Deputy Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son said Vietnam is making preparations for APEC year 2017 at a workshop in Hanoi on Wednesday. He said that the APEC forum is a priority in Vietnam’s foreign policy until 2020.

The Asia-Pacific region has played an important role in Vietnam’s renewal, growth, and international integration as it accounts for 68% of Vietnam’s exports and 82% of Vietnam’s foreign direct investment. 13 of 15 Vietnam’s FTAs have been signed and are being negotiated with APEC partners.
